The daily flights between Toronto Pearson Airport and Victoria signify another milestone in the airline's growing network of routes, facilitated by its new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft introduced earlier this year.
The Embraer E195-E2 Aircraft: A Game-Changer in Air Travel
The newly introduced route will be serviced by the 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which boasts a two-by-two configuration, ensuring no middle seats and offering passengers more excellent personal space. The aircraft has high-speed WiFi, enabling passengers to enjoy streaming-quality connectivity and access to a rich library of movies and TV shows on multiple devices, enhancing the in-flight entertainment experience.

Porter Airlines is not just enhancing the flying experience but is also taking significant strides in promoting sustainability. The E195-E2 aircraft stands out with the lowest fuel consumption per seat and trip in its class and is currently the quietest single-aisle jet in operation. The airline also focuses on reducing its environmental footprint by prioritizing the reduction and eventual elimination of single-use plastics onboard. Flight Schedule and Connectivity
The Toronto Pearson-Victoria route operates with the following schedule:
- Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) to Victoria (YYJ): Departure at 10:55 a.m., Arrival at 1:04 p.m.
- Victoria (YYJ) to Toronto-Pearson (YYZ): Departure at 2:00 p.m., Arrival at 9:31 p.m.
The new route also facilitates connecting flights with Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, and St. John's, enhancing connectivity across major cities in Canada.
