This collaboration aims to launch the Spirit Wings Pilot Pathway program at Liberty University's School of Aeronautics in Lynchburg, Virginia. The initiative marks a significant stride in Spirit Airlines' endeavor to expand its reservoir of professional pilots.

- Program Mechanics: Students pursuing an aviation degree at Liberty University can apply for the program post their sophomore year, given they secure a faculty recommendation. After Spirit's interview process, successful candidates will receive a conditional employment offer, a Spirit Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), and mentorship. Pilots will undergo the Spirit-funded and approved Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) prerequisites upon meeting the Restricted Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP CTP) and Jet Transition Course.
