Monte Koch, NBAA Board Chair, expressed his enthusiasm about the event's return to Las Vegas, emphasizing the collaboration with local civic and business leaders that has been instrumental to the convention's success.

The convention is expected to showcase many exhibits, including a diverse range of aircraft, both at the airport and within the exhibition hall. A notable highlight is the introduction of electric, hybrid, and hydrogen-powered aircraft, signaling a transformative phase in sustainable, on-demand air travel.

According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the convention is projected to infuse approximately $53 million into the local economy during its duration. Clark County Commission Chair James Gibson accentuated the significance of aviation to the region's tourism sector, drawing parallels with other significant events such as the Formula 1 race and the Super Bowl.

Steve Hill, CEO of the LVCVA, elaborated on the indispensable role of the business aviation industry in shaping Las Vegas's identity. He noted that trade shows and conferences held in the city have enabled it to surpass the national average by 23%. Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft further highlighted the tangible benefits of NBAA-BACE, emphasizing its economic advantages to the local community and the broader aviation industry.

This year's convention also underscores NBAA's dedication to environmental sustainability. Numerous exhibitors have committed to the NBAA-BACE Exhibitor Sustainability Pledge, aiming to minimize their carbon footprint and waste generation. The LVCC has also implemented a comprehensive sustainability plan, aligning with the event's green objectives.

Furthermore, flights departing from various Las Vegas airports during the convention will utilize sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), which can curtail net carbon emissions by up to 80%. This initiative aligns with the broader objective of the business aviation sector to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
