Boeing Business Jets Introduces New Cabin Options for BBJ 737-7

Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) has unveiled a novel approach to customizing cabin interiors for its BBJ 737-7 model. This initiative, "BBJ Select," aims to streamline the design process, expediting interior installation and the jet's subsequent delivery. The announcement was made public by the company recently.

The primary advantage of BBJ Select is providing a range of pre-designed cabin layouts and configurations. This not only accelerates the installation process but also reduces the overall purchase price of the aircraft.

This new offering was showcased at the National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) held in Las Vegas. Joe Benson, the President of BBJ, commented on the launch, stating that the BBJ Select is tailored for customers who might not have the inclination or time to design a fully custom interior. The pre-designed options presented by BBJ Select provide an efficient way to equip the cabin, and the jet is made available at a fixed, competitive price.

BBJ Select provides an extensive choice for customers, ranging from guest rooms, private offices, and family rooms to VIP passenger seating configurations. There are 144 unique modular cabin combinations spread across three distinct color palettes. These combinations cater to various requirements, personal, business, or head-of-state airplane necessities.

The layouts of BBJ Select were conceptualized in partnership with renowned business jet completion centers, Aloft AeroArchitects, and Greenpoint Technologies. These layouts are designed to cut costs associated with one-time engineering and other related tasks required to install a new cabin design. To further simplify the buying process, customers enter into a single contract with Boeing, which takes charge of the fully-equipped VIP aircraft's design, construction, and delivery.

It's worth noting that the BBJ Select cabins are exclusively available for the BBJ 737-7, the latest addition to the BBJ 737 MAX family. This model boasts a unique blend of extensive range, spacious cabin, and top-tier operating economics. The BBJ 737 7 can fly passengers non-stop for over 15 hours, consuming less fuel and emitting fewer emissions than its predecessors. Regarding reliability and residual value retention, BBJs stand out from their competitors.
