JetBlue and The Bahamas have inaugurated a landmark nonstop service, connecting the West Coast of the United States directly to the heart of the Caribbean. On November 4, 2023, the first JetBlue flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) in Nassau touched down, marking the beginning of a new era in travel convenience between these two iconic destinations.

Passengers on the inaugural JetBlue flight #2710 were welcomed in true Bahamian style with a lively Junkanoo celebration, offering a taste of the unforgettable experiences that await in the Bahamas. Erik Hildebrandt, Director of Domestic Cities at JetBlue, expressed the airline's excitement in providing a new, direct link to Nassau, a destination synonymous with world-class leisure and luxury.
