Expanding the Network: Salt Lake City to Honolulu

The new route between Salt Lake City and Honolulu is set to begin on May 15, with Hawaiian Airlines deploying its 189-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft for the service. This addition marks a significant expansion of Hawaiian Airlines' network, catering to the strong tourism and educational ties, as well as the shared Pacific Island communities between Utah and Hawaiʻi. Salt Lake City becomes Hawaiian's 16th gateway city in the continental U.S., the most of any carrier serving the islands.

Flight HA84 will depart HNL at 6:50 p.m. and arrive at SLC at 5:15 a.m. the following day. Conversely, HA83 will leave SLC at 7 a.m. and land at HNL at 9:55 a.m., allowing travelers to maximize their first day at either destination.
