Emirates Airline, recognized as the largest international airline, announced on August 30, 2023, the launch of a new complimentary bus service for its Economy Class passengers arriving at Tokyo-Haneda Airport. This service will commence on 1 September 2023.
With this initiative, Emirates stands out as the sole air carrier in Japan to provide a free bus service from Haneda Airport to key train stations in Tokyo. This ensures a streamlined and efficient transportation solution for the airline's customers. The two primary drop-off points are the renowned Tokyo Station (TYQ) at the Marunouchi North Entrance and the vibrant Shinagawa Station (SGS) at the Konan Entrance bus stop no. 7.
The service will operate from Haneda Airport's Terminal 3 Charter Bus Parking area, which features a three-letter IATA code. This facilitates passengers in effortlessly organizing their bookings up to their final stations. The bus schedule is as follows (all times are local):
- Bus EK7034: Departs from Haneda International Airport at 00:01hrs, arriving at Tokyo Station (TYQ) by 00:40hrs.
- Bus EK7036: Departs from Haneda International Airport at 00:01hrs, reaching Shinagawa Station (SGS) by 00:30hrs.
The complimentary daily service is designed to offer Emirates' passengers convenient and swift connectivity to central Tokyo locations in approximately 40 minutes or less. The travel experience is further elevated with amenities such as onboard restrooms for passenger comfort. In the event of a flight delay, the bus service will extend its wait until 1:00hrs local time the following day to ensure passengers are transported to their designated stations.
