ATLANTA, GA - Delta Air Lines, following a record-breaking summer of transatlantic flights, is set to further enhance its global footprint with the introduction of new routes and the extension of existing services. The airline's expansion strategy underscores its commitment to providing travelers with more options to explore iconic destinations worldwide.

New Horizons from New York-JFK: Delta, the dominant carrier to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East from its JFK hub, is launching a first-of-its-kind nonstop service to Naples, Italy, starting May 23, 2024. This addition complements Delta's existing routes to Milan, Venice, and Rome. The airline is also reviving its service to Shannon, Ireland, from JFK, which was last operational in 2019. Furthermore, a new nonstop flight to Munich will be available three times a week from April 9, 2024.

Atlanta's European Connection: From May 31, 2024, travelers from Atlanta can fly nonstop to Zurich, Switzerland, four times a week. This addition bolsters Delta's extensive network from its hometown hub, which already includes nearly 180 weekly flights to 21 destinations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

West Coast Wonders from Los Angeles: Delta is amplifying its presence on the U.S. west coast. The daily nonstop flight from LAX to Auckland, New Zealand, commencing on Oct. 28, 2023, will now be a year-round service. Additionally, Delta is doubling its service from LAX to Sydney, Australia, starting this December. The airline is also resuming its four-times-weekly service to Shanghai-Pudong International Airport from March 31, 2024, in collaboration with China Eastern Airlines.

More Choices for Delta Customers: Delta is enhancing its summer 2024 schedule with added flights to popular destinations like Paris, Barcelona, Reykjavik, and Athens from various U.S. hubs. The airline is also introducing a new Dallas-Seattle route and resuming additional services from Salt Lake City and Detroit.

Elevated In-Flight Experience: Delta is offering a choice of four experiences on most trans-oceanic flights: Delta One or Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin. The Delta Premium Select experience promises more space, an adjustable footrest, and an elevated dining experience. In contrast, Delta One customers can indulge in a lie-flat seat, premium amenities, and a seasonal chef-curated four-course meal.
