Boeing Spotlights Sustainable Aviation and Premier Portfolio at Dubai Airshow 2023

Boeing is poised to make a significant impact at the Dubai Airshow 2023, showcasing its latest innovations in sustainable aviation and a broad array of its leading-edge commercial, defense, and services offerings. The aerospace giant is set to demonstrate its commitment to advancing the industry's sustainability goals and its dedication to innovation in the global aerospace sector.

The event will feature the Boeing 777-9, performing in the airshow's flying display. This new widebody jet is the world's largest and most efficient twin-engine jet, representing the zenith of Boeing's twin-aisle offerings with advanced technologies from the 787 Dreamliner. The 777-9 boasts a capacity for 426 passengers and a range of 13,510 km (7,295 nautical miles), setting a new standard for long-haul travel.

Boeing's display will also include customer aircraft such as the 787-9 Dreamliners from Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways, an Emirates Airlines 777-300ER (Extended Range), a SAUDIA 787-10 Dreamliner, and an Air India Express 737 MAX. Additionally, Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia's newest airline, will present a Boeing-owned 787-9 adorned in its new indigo livery.

The airshow will also serve as a platform for the F-15QA (Qatar Advanced) fighter jet's air show debut, showcasing the aircraft's superior capabilities. Alongside the F-15QA, Boeing will exhibit the T-7A Red Hawk Advanced Pilot Training System simulator, providing insights into the next generation of pilot training.

In line with the aerospace industry's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, Boeing will participate as a strategic sponsor of the airshow's Aerospace 2050 conference. The company will highlight its investments in technology and initiatives to reduce emissions, particularly ahead of the U.N. Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP 28) in Dubai.

Boeing's commitment to sustainability will be further emphasized through discussions on the Cascade Climate Impact Model, a data-modeling tool designed to offer actionable insights for aviation's decarbonization efforts.

On the defense front, Boeing will display the advanced capabilities of its aircraft, including the F-15E, KC-46A Pegasus, P-8A Poseidon, AH-64 Apache, and CH-47F Chinook. Boeing Global Services will showcase its comprehensive services for government and commercial customers, emphasizing digital solutions, sustainment, modifications, parts, and training.
