Air Transat, honored as the World's Best Leisure Airline at the 2023 Skytrax World Airline Awards, has introduced its extensive summer flight program for 2024 from Toronto. This ambitious schedule signifies a marked recovery, especially in its primary markets of Europe and the South.
Air Transat is set to operate 110 direct weekly flights during the summer season, connecting Toronto to over 25 global destinations. The year-round direct flights to Lima, Peru, are a notable addition to the program.
Michèle Barre, Transat's Chief Revenue Officer, highlighted the airline's strategy: "Our focus is on expanding our market share in Ontario, enhancing flight frequencies to potential markets, and continuing our legacy of superior in-flight service."
European Connectivity Enhanced
Air Transat amplifies its European operations by adding flights to England, Croatia, Ireland, Italy, and Portugal. This expansion will provide daily services to destinations like Dublin and Manchester. In total, Toronto will have direct flights to 15 European cities.

Sunny Destinations on the Horizon
For those seeking sunnier climes, Air Transat is augmenting its offerings to popular Southern destinations. The airline's new addition, Lima, Peru, will now be accessible year-round. Other destinations, such as Cancun, Montego Bay, and Punta Cana, will also see increased flight frequencies.
