Air France has announced its plans to strengthen its presence in North America by introducing a new non-stop service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, starting October 30, 2023. This addition is part of the airline's strategy to cater to one of its most dynamic global markets.

The new route to Raleigh-Durham, known as the "Research Triangle" due to its concentration of high-tech companies and research institutions, will be serviced by the Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The flight schedule is as follows:
- AF692: Departing Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 13:30, arriving in Raleigh-Durham at 16:35.
- AF693: Departing Raleigh-Durham at 18:45, arriving in Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 08:25 the next day.
Raleigh and neighboring cities Durham and Chapel Hill form the "Research Triangle," a hub of education, research, and innovation. The region is recognized nationwide for its advanced industries and is second only to Silicon Valley in the US.
In addition to the new service to Raleigh-Durham, Air France will continue its recently inaugurated route to Ottawa, Canada, throughout the winter season. The airline will also increase its flights to Dallas-Fort Worth, Montreal, and Vancouver. Furthermore, starting December 2, 2023, Air France will resume its winter flights between Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) and Montreal.
