Ryanair Reports 9% Growth in September Traffic, Welcoming 17.4 Million Guests

DUBLIN – Ryanair Holdings plc, Europe's leading budget airline, has announced a significant 9% growth in its traffic for September 2023. The airline successfully carried a whopping 17.4 million passengers during the month, showcasing its robust recovery and growth trajectory in the post-pandemic era.

While the press release primarily focused on the traffic statistics, it also highlighted Ryanair's recent launch of two new routes. The airline celebrated its inaugural flight from Prague to Paphos in early August. Additionally, Ryanair introduced a twice-weekly service connecting Prague to Kosice, further expanding its extensive European network.

To commemorate the launch of these new routes, Ryanair initiated a seat sale, offering fares as low as 729 Kc for flights to Kosice and 759 Kc for journeys to Paphos. These promotional fares, valid for travel until the end of October, were available exclusively on Ryanair's official website and had to be booked by the 5th of August.

The impressive growth in September's traffic and the introduction of new routes underscore Ryanair's commitment to providing affordable and accessible air travel options to its customers. As the airline continues to expand its footprint across Europe, passengers can anticipate more destinations and competitive fares in the coming months.
