Elevating Long-Haul Travel

Samer Majali, Vice Chairman and CEO of Royal Jordanian, emphasized that the decision to incorporate additional 787-9 Dreamliners is a testament to the airline's dedication to providing an unparalleled travel experience. This move aligns with Royal Jordanian's broader strategy of fleet modernization, focusing on fuel efficiency, sustainability, and passenger comfort. The Dreamliner's cutting-edge technology is expected to play a pivotal role in elevating the airline's operational capabilities.

Expanding Global Reach

The addition of the 787-9 Dreamliners builds on Royal Jordanian's existing fleet of seven 787-8 airplanes. The 787-9 model, capable of flying 296 passengers up to 14,010 km (7,565 nautical miles), will enable the airline to transport more passengers and cargo farther, enhancing its ability to connect Amman with major global destinations. Majali highlighted that the airline's current fleet of 787-8 Dreamliners has successfully connected Amman to key global cities, and the new order underscores Royal Jordanian's forward-looking approach and commitment to meeting the growing demand for long-haul travel.
