JetBlue Expands Caribbean Presence with New Credit Card Offerings

JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) has announced a strategic partnership with CIBC FirstCaribbean and Mastercard to introduce two new credit cards, expanding its loyalty program's reach in the Caribbean. The JetBlue Mastercard and JetBlue Select Mastercard by CIBC FirstCaribbean are set to offer exclusive rewards and benefits, including the opportunity to earn TrueBlue points redeemable across JetBlue’s extensive network of over 100 destinations.

New Horizons in the Caribbean: Starting November 2023, residents of The Bahamas, Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Cayman Islands will have access to these credit cards. The launch is accompanied by a welcome bonus of up to 30,000 TrueBlue points, contingent on meeting purchase requirements within the first 90 days of account opening.

Cardholder Benefits: The JetBlue Mastercard by CIBC FirstCaribbean, with no annual fee, allows cardholders to earn points on every purchase, with double points on JetBlue purchases. The JetBlue Select Mastercard, carrying a $99 annual fee, offers quadruple points on JetBlue purchases and additional perks such as a free checked bag for the cardholder and up to three companions, as well as a $100 annual statement credit on JetBlue Vacations packages.
