British Airways Enhances Its Network with New Destinations and Premium Services
British Airways has recently announced several exciting updates to its service offerings and route network, marking significant expansions and enhancements for its customers.
Agadir Joins British Airways' Network from London Gatwick
Agadir, a popular coastal city in Morocco, is the latest addition to British Airways' short-haul network from London Gatwick. Starting from 31 March 2024, British Airways’ Gatwick short-haul subsidiary, BA Euroflyer, will operate this route four times weekly. This marks the first time in over a decade that British Airways customers will have direct access to Agadir, known for its sunny beaches, golf courses, and cultural landmarks like Agadir Kasbah.

Customers flying to Agadir can choose from two cabin classes: Club Europe (business class) and Euro Traveller (economy). Club Europe offers a full meal service, drinks from the bar, lounge access, priority boarding, and additional baggage allowance. Euro Traveller passengers will enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks. Return flights from London Gatwick to Agadir start at £138.
British Airways' Return to London Stansted for Summer 2024
British Airways is set to resume operations at London Stansted Airport for Summer 2024, offering weekend flights to Florence, Ibiza, and Nice. These services, commencing on 18 May 2024, will be operated by BA Cityflyer using its Embraer 190 aircraft. The Stansted flights complement existing services from London City Airport and recent additions like weekend services from Edinburgh to San Sebastian and Olbia. This reintroduction marks the first scheduled flights by British Airways from Stansted since before the global pandemic, adding another London airport to its service roster. Flights to Florence, Ibiza, and Nice from Stansted are available from £41, £36, and £43 each way, respectively.
