A Historic Journey: From San Francisco to Mazatlán

Alaska Airlines' journey into international service began on a historic Tuesday in 1988 with its inaugural nonstop flight from San Francisco to Mazatlán. The following day, the airline expanded its service to include San Francisco to Puerto Vallarta. Today, Alaska Airlines serves eight unique cities in Mexico, including Cancun, Guadalajara, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Los Cabos, Loreto, Manzanillo, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta.
