The prestigious Five Star Global Airline Award at the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) 2024 Awards Ceremony acknowledged Air Canada's unwavering dedication to superior service. The event took place in Long Beach, California. This marks the fifth occasion in the past six years that Air Canada has secured an APEX Five Star rating, a distinction primarily based on passenger feedback.

Mark Nasr, Air Canada's Executive Vice President of Marketing and digital and President of Aeroplan, expressed gratitude on behalf of the airline's 36,000-strong workforce. He emphasized the airline's substantial investments in enhancing digital platforms, lounge amenities, and in-flight services. Nasr highlighted the airline's commitment to offering passengers enhanced comfort and convenience as they travel across Air Canada's extensive global network.

The APEX Five Star and Four Star Airline Awards, previously known as the APEX Official Airline Ratings™, are determined by impartial passenger feedback. This feedback is collected through APEX's collaboration with TripIt® from Concur®, a top-rated travel organization app. For the 2024 Awards, passengers rated nearly one million flights from over 600 global airlines using a five-star scale. An external professional auditing firm independently certifies the APEX Five Star and Four Star Airline Awards.
