Montreal, Canada – Air Canada has announced a strategic expansion of its Scandinavian network with the introduction of new summer seasonal flights to Stockholm, Sweden. Starting June 12, 2024, the airline will connect Montreal and Toronto with Stockholm, offering three and two weekly flights respectively. This expansion is timed to optimize connectivity through Air Canada's Montreal and Toronto global hubs and includes increased capacity to Copenhagen from both cities.
Expanding Horizons: Air Canada's New Stockholm Service
Air Canada's new service to Stockholm from Montreal and Toronto is a significant addition to its international route portfolio. The flights are scheduled to begin on June 12, 2024, and will be operated with the state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. This aircraft features three cabins of service, including the luxurious Signature Class with lie-flat seats, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.
Increased Flights to Copenhagen
In addition to the new Stockholm flights, Air Canada is boosting its service to Copenhagen. From Toronto, daily flights will commence on May 1, 2024, and continue until October 31. Montreal will see the resumption of seasonal flights to Copenhagen starting May 2, 2024, with frequency increasing to five weekly flights in June.
